Twitter Chats

Twitter chats are a great way for people to connect with each other at the same time to discuss a specific topic of interest on Twitter. Vegas hosts or participates in Twitter chats in real-time to express interest and answer questions.

Chats are open to the public and everyone is encouraged to participate. Interested in joining staff during an upcoming chat? Check out Vegas International and Investor Events pages for the current schedule. Vegas generally promotes each chat there, on the Vegas primary Twitter account (@1877800VEGAS), and through email updates.

Have an idea for a chat? Let us know! Email: socialmedia@vegas.management

Twitter Chat Guidelines

  1. Vegas uses Twitter quote feature to answer questions during a Twitter chat. This means we will "quote" a tweet, and provide an answer attached to that tweet. You can see samples in our transcripts.
  2. Unless posted otherwise, chats are limited to 60 minutes.
  3. We answer questions from as many different participants as possible before going back to someone who has already asked a question.
  4. Official transcripts posted will have Twitter handles redacted. For more details about how we maintain records including Twitter handles, please read our Privacy Policy.

"After lengthy negotiations, the manager came to see Elvis in Las Vegas. Weintraub gave the man strict instructions that while he could manage Elvi's career, he was not to give him advice." - Source: Baldoni, John. "Never Act Like the Smartest Guy in the Room". Forbes, Web, 26 July 2012. · Cache .pdf ( 308 KB ) 18 February 2018 - "Weintraub watches from a distance as the man asks Elvis if he might make some suggestions about the cape he's wearing on stage. Elvis politely - he was always polite to strangers - excused himself and later told Weintraub that the deal was off."
